Diocesan grads to enroll at military academies 2016

Fifteen graduating seniors from four Arlington diocesan high schools will attend military academies this fall.

Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington has three students who will attend military academies. Gabriella Baltimore will attend the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.; Briana Broccoli will attend the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Great Neck, N.Y.; and Michael Fantini will attend the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Co.

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Dumfries will send five students. William Cresencio Adams and Peter Maximilian Gelbach will attend the U.S. Naval Academy; Andre Michael Gallant will go to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.; Alexander Joseph Belmes LaVille will go to the U.S. Air Force Academy; and Corrie Catherine Michell will attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York.

Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax will send two students. Michael Coritz and Kevin O’Callaghan will attend the U.S. Naval Academy.

Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria will send five students. Nicholas A. Beane and Corey E. Johnson will go to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs; David R. Cooper will attend the U.S. Military Academy; and Kelly J. Larkin and Joseph A. Siedlarz Jr. both will attend the U.S. Naval Academy.
