The USCCB launched Fortnight for Freedom in the summer of
2011 to promote and preserve protection of religious liberty through prayer and
activism. This year’s theme, “Freedom for Mission,” is focused on the
importance and value of freedom to be witnesses to the Catholic faith in
prayer, serving others and promoting a culture of freedom.
