The 33rd annual Arlington diocesan Scout Mass, sponsored by the Catholic Committee on Scouting and Camp Fire, was celebrated by Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde Feb. 8 at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington.

Boys and girls of all ages were presented with religious emblems, including: the Guardian Angel Award, focusing on the special helper assigned to each person by God; the Light of Christ Award, to help boys develop their relationship with Jesus and family; and the I Live My Faith Award, which helps girls learn more about their parishes' histories and American saints. The Mass was followed by a reception in Burke Hall.
