As the election draws near, Catholics are invited to unite in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament through the rosary.

All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas will host a Rosary for Virginia Oct. 30 to pray that the sanctity of life and marriage is upheld by voting “no” to two proposed constitutional amendments regarding abortion access and redefining marriage.

In a video promoting the gathering, Father Noah Morey, diocesan vocations director, recalled the Virgin Mary securing “improbable victories” when the faithful sought her intercession in the past and called for the same prayer now. He echoed Bishop Michael F. Burbidge’s invitation to prayer and fasting ahead of the election.

“The lives of countless unborn children, the sanctity of marriage, and parental rights in Virginia hang in the balance,” Father Morey said. “Help us storm heaven and turn the tide again.”
